Privacy

What we collect
Your email and a hashed password; the profile you enter (values, floors, tripwires, decision style, personality answers and scores); the decisions you or your connected AI log; and facts you add, approve or import; a record of which apps and agent keys you created and when they were last used; and a log (kept 90 days) of which tool each connected AI called and which profile sections it received or was denied. Imported chats are read in your browser; only the messages from conversations you tick are sent to us to find possible facts, and the text itself is not stored. Only the facts you approve are saved. Nothing else: no ad trackers, no analytics on your content.
Why
Only to run WiseStep: show you your profile and ledger, and let your own AI read and write them when you connect it. We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to train models.
Payments
If you buy the founding offer, the payment is handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as the seller of record. They collect your card or UPI details and billing information; WiseStep never sees them. We receive only the confirmation that you paid, your email, and a payment reference, so we can unlock your access and process a refund if you ask.
Analytics
If we have turned on Microsoft Clarity, it only loads after you click Allow, and only on public pages such as the homepage and pricing. It never runs on your profile, ledger, connection or account pages, and the journey inputs on the homepage are masked. Choosing "No thanks" keeps it off. Clarity is operated by Microsoft under its own privacy terms.
Your AI provider
When you connect Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant, the profile text and ledger entries it requests are sent to that provider and handled under their terms. That is your choice; you can disconnect any app at any time on the Connect page. Do not put information in your profile you are not comfortable sharing with the AI you connect.
Your rights
- Access and portability: download everything as JSON from your profile or Connect page.
- Correction: edit any answer at any time.
- Erasure: delete your account on the Connect page. Your rows and all tokens are removed immediately.
- Withdraw consent: disconnect an app, or delete your account.
Security
Passwords are hashed with scrypt. Sign-in tokens are stored only as hashes. Each user's rows are protected by database row-level security. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
What this is not
WiseStep is a thinking aid. The personality readout is a short self-report, not a diagnosis. It is not medical, legal, financial or tax advice, and it has not been shown to improve decisions; the ledger is how you check that for yourself.
